I can't believe I've just identified a BIG subject - with 66000 exact match searches in the UK each month - with the words 'for sale' in the phrase. This could be life-changing. Not often you get that with $50 worth of bits n bytes! ...... Going through each and every backlink and looking at the PR of each backlink itself could and would take hours and hours to do.

I'm not aware of any other program that will make that offer! ... You can find goods to sell on eBay on Craigslist, Garage Sales, Big Box stores like Sam's and Costco and in your own home. I bet most of us have stuff we haven't used in months that could be auctioned off on eBay to make a quick dollar or two.

I think that commenting on blogs is a great practice for a number of reasons, but the potential SEO benefit may or may not be there, depending on the blog.

Most blogs are defaulted to "nofollow" on the commenter's name. If you go to a blog and highlight the name of a commenter and then "view selection source" and look for the tag rel="external nofollow" in the HTML code. If this is in the code there is no SEO benefit as far as the name is concerned. If a blog uses the Comment Luv plugin, then there is a "follow" link but it expires after 30 days when it reverts to a "nofollow" link.

HI Lesly. A backlink is a link from a site to yours. When you leave a response to a blog, you create a link back to your web page anchored by the name you leave. So this is a back link. You can also create links back to your site other ways to. I hope that helps.

EXCELLENT POST!! Thank you for the useful tips and techniques. I have recently heard about search engine optimization and am very interested to learn more. All i know is I am trying to take baby steps because if i try to take in too much I know I will be confused. In my opinion SEO is quite complicated but essential for rankings. After reading this post, I am definitely going to pay more attention to the backlinks and comments. I never knew that a simple task and plugin(SEOQuake) would play such a huge role in your page ranking. Thank you Kris. I will definitely come back to read more.
